Natural Resource Conservation Network (NRCN) is a network of professionals who, in private-public partnership arrangement with the Government of the Republic of Uganda, pursue investigation, prosecution and reporting of wildlife crime in Uganda. The ultimate goal of NRCN is to reduce incidences of commercial wildlife trafficking and promote conservation of wildlife.
NRCN has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Uganda Wildlife Authority to support UWA in their efforts to fight wildlife crime. NRCN is also licensed by the Directorate of Public Prosecution to privately prosecute wildlife cases on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uganda. Natural Resource Conservation Network works with Uganda Wildlife Authority, Judiciary, Directorate of Public Prosecution, Police as well as non- governmental organizations focusing on wildlife conservation initiatives.
