Nkuringo Orphans Group/Bright Future Pre- and Primary School

Nkuringo Bright Future Pre and Primary School was formed by the Nkuringo Orphans Group and provides accommodations and education for 232 orphans and vulnerable children living in the very remote Nteko parish in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda. 133 students board at the school. Arthur Kajubwami is the director and inspirational leader of this school. The children are ages 5 to 12 years old.

Grant #1 – May 2014

Empowers Africa made a grant to Nkuringo Orphans Group for support of the Nkuringo Bright Future Pre and Primary School. The grant funded: new bathrooms, new water tank, new mattresses, and annual tuition for one child.

Grant #2 – May 2015

Empowers Africa made a grant to the Nkuringo Orphans Group to sponsor 4 students at the Nkuringo Bright Future Pre and Primary School. This grant will provide each student with school fees, exercise books, textbooks, sports uniform, medical costs, field trips, acrobatic club fee, accommodation fee and toiletries and spending money.
