Empowers Africa Blood Lions Screening

Empowers Africa will host a special screening of the groundbreaking exposé, Blood Lions on December 2^nd, at The Explorers Club in New York City.  This new documentary film is causing shock waves across the globe by exposing captive lion breeding and the canned lion hunting industry in South Africa. We will be showing the uncut version not screened on T.V.
The screening will be followed by a discussion on the captive lion industry, its association with canned hunting and the lion bone trade, and the impact on wild lion conservation.
Guest speakers will include Dr. Andrew Venter (Wildlands CEO), Ian Michler (Blood Lions Consultant), and Dr. Luke Hunter (Panthera President).
All proceeds will be granted from Empowers Africa to Wildlands in aid of the Blood Lions campaign to help regulate the captive lion industry and enable wild lion conservation in South Africa.
One hundred percent of all ticket purchases or donations are tax deductible.
