Empowers Africa is delighted to announce a USD 6,500 grant to The Imibala Trust

Empowers Africa is delighted to announce a USD 6,500 grant to The Imibala Trust to sponsor 66 children from 10 different schools in the Somerset West area of the Western Cape. This grant also included funding for student transportation costs.
The Imibala Trust provides scholarships, uniforms and supplementary educational income to children from underprivileged communities in the Somerset West area of the Western Cape. Each child is provided the necessary supplies to attend school: a book bag, notebooks, school tracksuit, jersey, sock, shoes, and a raincoat. In addition, Imibala provides tuition if the sponsored student attends a fee-based school. By providing tuition, uniforms and school supplies, Imibala is eliminating the primary barriers to an education for these sponsored children.
Their work is imperative in their community, and Empowers Africa is honored to be in partnership with The Imibala Trust.
