We are delighted to announce that our series of film documentaries, Saving African Species, will be on show at the BZN 2020 International Film Festival and you are virtually invited! We are even more excited to announce that we have been awarded the Ted Turner Award for Saving African Species in recognition of the environmental stewardship displayed.
Featuring over 70 films from around the globe, this year’s film selection at the BZN International Film Festival inspire, question and celebrate what it means to be human – and what it means to live in harmony with our amazing environment.
This year, the event will be taking place online from August 27 – September 5. Passes are now available to buy (please click on the link in our bio), which will allow you to watch all the films from 2020 and the interviews with the filmmakers, as well as the popular films from 2018 and 2019.
“Saving African Species is a collection of short documentaries made by some of Africa’s leading short documentary filmmakers. The films feature prominent conservationists and NGOs in their mission of protecting some of Africa’s most endangered and threatened species, including, rhino, elephant and lions. The session also includes interviews with several of Africa’s eminent conservationists, NGOs and filmmakers featured in the documentaries, including, Angela Sheldrick of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Beverly & Derek Joubert National Geographic Explorers-in- Residence, and Andrea Heydlau of African Parks Network.”
