The most incredible and extremely rare sighting of a melanistic black leopard cub at @olpejeta in Kenya. Ol Pejeta is a sanctuary for endangered and threatened species and news like this is always wonderful to hear! 🏽

Our teams have been thrilled to hear the news that an extremely rare black leopard cub has been spotted on the conservancy and one lucky visitor even managed to capture this fantastic footage of the cub alongside its sibling!
Melanistic leopards have been reported in and around Kenya for decades but confirmed sightings are so rare that they went over 100 years without being scientifically documented here.
