It’s definitely a fact that children who develop in structured and stimulating environments have a stronger foundation to succeed in later life. With this in mind, the @singita_ Community Development Trust has initiated the Growing to Read program in partnership with the non-profit READ Educational Trust. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The program involves training teachers and parents, as well as providing educational resources and stationery. The aim is to improve the quality of early childhood education offered by pre-schools in the Kruger area in South Africa by equipping teachers with the knowledge and skills for them to progress from being child-minders to early childhood development educators. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ By doing so, Singita hopes to lay a solid foundation that will help these children reach their full potential – and perhaps even become our next generation of safari guides and conservationists!
