The Great Migration. Awe-inspiring. Magical. Breath-taking. Real- and happening right now on the plains of the Serengeti and soon to be the Masai Mara, as the herds of wildebeest thunder across the river in search of fresh grass.

Dramatic thunderstorms and billowing clouds mark the welcome arrival of the annual rains in East Africa, followed shortly by millions of wildebeest, zebra and other plains game.
The Great Migration is the largest terrestrial mammal movement on earth; a wildlife spectacle unlike any other. Pouring into the Grumeti and Mara Rivers and crossing hills and plains, they brave hungry predators, crippling fatique and potential starvation in their quest for good grazing.
The existence of this epic event at Singita Grumeti is a direct result of the tireless efforts of the @GrumetiFund, who successfully restored a once-barren ecosystem to the thriving wilderness area it is today.
