One of the top tourist destinations in the region, the Serengeti National Park in north-central Tanzania is a World Heritage Site. It is the home of the great migration making it worthy of being one of the seven natural wonders in Africa. Over two million animals gather in Serengeti and migrate over the Acacia plain towards Masai Mara in Kenya every year.
Spanning around 15,000 square km, the Serengeti has one of the highest concentrations of predators in the world, with over 27 species of carnivores. This park is always swarming with wildlife from the iconic Big 5, limitless herds of wildebeest and zebra, and over 500 species of birds 🌍
