The adventure begins… Yesterday our team left South Africa and arrived in Tanzania and today, they begin their ascent to the top of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro! They are climbing to raise funds for critical human empowerment and wildlife protection programmes across sub-Saharan Africa, and we have all fingers and toes crossed for them to reach the iconic summit.
They’ll be starting at the Western Lemosho gate and today, the hike will take them through beautiful afro-montane forest to an altitude of 7380 feet.
