We are over the moon to report that yesterday the IUCN published the results of its review of the mountain gorilla Red List status, down-listing the species from Critically Endangered to Endangered for this first time since 1994. This is a victory for mountain gorilla conservation and for all the individuals who have dedicated their lives to protecting the species. Long may it continue! 🦍❤️ 📸 @virunganationalpark
