World Tourism Day – “Rethinking Tourism”
The COVID-19 pandemic has had enormous social and economic consequences. Non-profit conservation groups that rely on the tourism sector are among those that have been hit the hardest.
The restart of tourism will hopefully aid in the acceleration of recovery and growth. This year’s theme, Rethinking Tourism, aims to spark discussion about restructuring tourism for the purpose of development, including education, job creation, environmental impact, and opportunities for more sustainable growth.
