The Oloisukut Wild Partnership: A Joint Conservation Venture
Join hands with the Oloisukut community and Collection in the Wild, creators of House in the Wild and the Enonkishu conservancy, in creating a lasting community-driven conservation area. Together, we restore wildlife habitats in harmony with improving the lives of the people living here.
Empowers Africa has partnered with Oloisukut Wild Partnership to support their projects through our granting program. Any donations made here to Empowers Africa will be granted to Oloisukut Wild Partnership.
Empowers Africa uses Stripe to process credit card donations. Stripe has very stringent security rules which may lead to declined credit card transactions. Oloisukut Wild Partnership Campaigns
Supporting the Oloisukut Conservancy
Help re-wild degraded land, restore threatened forests, and protect wildlife. This project secures a vital buffer to the Maasai Mara and aids in rewilding and reforesting farmland near Nyakweri Forest, home to pangolins, elephants, leopards, and other threatened species.
Your donations through Empowers Africa will be used to support nonprofit projects in the Oloisukut Conservancy, safeguarding over 12,000 acres and restoring a further 11,000 acres of degraded land. This supports lease fees for landowners and employs local rangers to prevent human-wildlife conflict and combat illegal activities.
