Empowers Africa Announces a Grant for USD 42,200 to Wilderness Wildlife Trust for their Botswana Rhino Reintroduction Project

Empowers Africa is excited to announce a USD 40,200 grant to Wilderness Wildlife Trust for their Botswana Rhino Reintroduction Project – this highly successful program moves black rhino from areas with some of the highest poaching rates to the safety of Botswana. The Botswana Rhino Reintroduction Project is a true success story: collaborative conservation efforts between Wilderness Trust, Wilderness Safaris, Botswana’s Department of Wildlife (DWNP) and the Botswana Government. These organizations have realized the dream of reintroducing both black and white rhino into Botswana.
