We were saddened to hear of the death of Peter Beard this week. Famed photographer, relentless explorer and intrepid traveller, his work is often credited as sounding the alarm of human beings’ impact on the natural environment, years before it became a mainstream concern. ⁣

His portraits of Africa and her wildlife are amongst his most famous. These two beautiful images were taken in Tsavo in 1976. Beautiful ❤️ Rest in peace @peterbeardart
