Beautiful, compassionate and amazingly altruistic, elephants are one of the most loved and iconic animals in the world. But they’re also in trouble. Currently, there are 400,000 elephant left in Africa which may sound like a lot, but when considered next to the fact that 3-5 million used to roam the continent, it becomes a different statistic and one of the biggest threats is still ivory poaching by humans.
