All the smiles and giggles at the Ebenezer Children’s Home, just outside Livingstone in Zambia, as a truck of supplies from @childreninthewilderness pulls in and the food was offloaded. The home currently has 46 young children ranging from 18 months to 17 years old, and with 13 helpers on site, there are many mouths to feed and tummies to fill. This donation of approximately 300 kg of food items will go a very long way.
Children in the Wilderness (CITW) is an independent non-profit organization established and supported by Wilderness Safaris and this food delivery was part of their ongoing COVID-19 relief fund. They are one of our fiscal sponsors, and their primary aim is to facilitate sustainable conservation through leadership development and education of children in Africa.
