The 2021 Serengeti Girls Run is here!
For the fourth consecutive year, runners of all levels are taking part in a multi-stage, all-women run across the untouched wilderness areas of Singita Grumeti’s private concession in the western corridor of the Serengeti. The run involves a flexible, multi-stage distance of 21km per day, from 27 October until 1 November.
Over the last few years, this incredible experience has successfully raised funds and awareness for girl and women empowerment in Tanzania. This year is no different, with the event providing funds for:
– 80 scholarships for local girls
– Empowerment events for 5,000 high school girls
– A years’ worth of sanitary pads for high school girls
– A mentorship program
– Life skills training
