World Gorilla Day brings people from all over the world together to celebrate the largest living primate and encourages us to take action to protect them in the wild.
Mountain Gorillas are typically found in tropical forest habitats in Africa. With less than 880 left in the wild, the endangered and critically endangered gorilla populations are threatened by habitat loss, disease, poaching, charcoal production, and war.
