We loved this news story from last week via @olpejeta that a rare set of elephant twins has been born! The likelihood of elephant twins is only 1% of all births and with a 22-month gestation period adding to the huge demands put on the mother, these little calves are quite the miracle.
The country’s first wildlife census, published last year, revealed that elephant numbers in Kenya are actually growing and it is great sign that more calves are on their way.
